About the role
TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Winchester, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
- Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
- Maintain close monitoring of critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
- Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
- Be prepared to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Have good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Requirements
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- 1.5 years of recent acute care experience
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
