This role involves providing specialized recovery care to patients emerging from anesthesia, managing patient stability, and ensuring smooth perioperative transitions. The position supports a team-focused environment within a busy PACU setting, requiring excellent clinical skills and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• 2-3 years of recent PACU experience
• Located within Alabama
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
• PACU experience is required
• Team player, passionate, and professional
• Dress code: navy scrubs

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care experience

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Equipment: EMR system Epic
• Unit cares for ortho, neuro, general, and pediatric patients

Schedule

• 10-hour days, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/21/2026
