Responsibilities
Manage post-anesthesia patient recovery in the PACU, ensuring safety and comfort.
Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during recovery.
Perform post-op assessments and document patient progress accurately.
Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Follow hospital protocols, including management of craniotomies, spine surgeries, thoracotomies, GI/GU, vascular, and bariatric procedures, ALINE, chest tubes, and central lines.
