Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $1,662 per week
About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a hospital contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The position will start on August 31, 2026, last for 12 weeks, and work 36 hours per week with a 12-hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care for surgical patients in the PACU.
- Maintain ventilator functions and monitor patient vital signs.
- Draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients within the unit.
- Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance using Cerner system.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale experience required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a current RN license in good standing, BLS certification, and experience in PACU. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale are preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems are essential.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $1758.84 - $1846.78 per week, subject to confirmation.
