Travel Nurse RN - Outpatient Surgery - $2,214 per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by obtaining vitals, shaving, obtaining consent, taking brief health history, and administering medication
• Start IVs and perform other pre-operative tasks
• Provide post-surgery care, including discharge instructions related to the surgical process
• Perform all surgical types as required by the unit(s)

Requirements

• Must be able to start on 10/5/2026 or later (not earlier)
• Must have experience working in an SDS (Same Day Surgery) department
• Must have experience working in a Surgery Department, including starting IVs
• Must have experience working in a Post-Surgery care department
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• IV start skills
• Surgery-related experience from both pre-operative and post-operative standpoints

Shift Details

10:30 AM – 11:00 PM

A specialty-specific assessment will be required at time of submission via HSH, an ANCC-accredited online competency platform.
