About the Role
Join the facility, a modern cancer center with advanced outpatient treatment and a collaborative oncology team. You will administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, monitor patients, manage side effects, and document interventions using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy
- Maintain patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Document interventions and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 3 years of recent nursing experience, with oncology experience strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Effective patient education skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary environment
Skills
- Chemo certifications are preferred but not required
