Travel Nurse RN - Orthopedics - $1,985 per week

About the role

Orthopedic Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality care to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients (13 and older) on a specialized orthopedic floor. The nurse will support post-operative joints, bariatric, trauma, and other surgical patients with a focus on teamwork, assessment skills, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic patients including geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients (13 and older)
• Support post-operative joint, bariatric, trauma, and other surgical patients
• Demonstrate strong assessment skills and compassionate care
• Collaborate as part of a motivated team
• Float as needed to other units

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• All required certifications must be current prior to start date

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Orientation weekly on Mondays
