Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,362 per week

About the role

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026 in Bakersfield, California.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and prepare patients for surgery.
• Ensure sterile environment and equipment are ready for surgery.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient recovery post-surgery.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse License.
• Possess and maintain current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider: 1. Basic Life Support (BLS) card. 2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card.
• Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a 4x10 schedule with a 6:45a start time.
• Will also work a 5x8 schedule with a 6:45a start time, working all weekdays.
• Some call on Nights and Weekends.

Skills

• Proficient in operating room procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
