Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $3,130 per week

About the role

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position in Burlington, Massachusetts. The role involves supporting complex surgical procedures in a large hospital setting, requiring independent management of a wide range of services with particular expertise in transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment starting 10/26/2026, scheduled for 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts). Candidates must meet all specified requirements to be considered.

Requirements

• Certifications in trauma level 1
• Extensive experience in large hospital environments
• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems
• Experience working across most surgical services with a focus on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Epic system expertise
• Separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible
• No local candidates within 50 miles will be accepted

Schedule

Days shift with hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Call expectations are 3 times a month, including 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, 7:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 6:00 AM–6:30 PM or 6:30 PM–6:30 AM on weekends, totaling 12 hours of call on either a Saturday or Sunday.
