About the role

The healthcare provider is seeking an Operating Room (OR) registered nurse for a position in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working primarily day hours with the possibility of rotating into evening shifts, utilizing orthopedic surgical skills, and possibly managing total joint procedures. On-call responsibilities are included.

Responsibilities

• Perform OR nursing duties with a focus on orthopedic and total joint procedures
• Work rotating day and evening 10-hour shifts
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system

Requirements

• Active RN license; Vermont license must be applied for upon acceptance
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Orthopedics experience with total joint procedures preferred
• Scrub experience highly preferred
• Cerner EMR experience advantageous
• Must have own vehicle due to limited public transportation options
• Prior review of work history and profile accuracy required for submission

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 09/08/2026 and ending 12/05/2026
• 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts
• Rotating day and evening shifts
• Orientation conducted on a biweekly basis
