Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,944 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Voorhees Township, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Provide operating room nursing care in the OR specialty
• Perform both circulating and scrubbing duties within the posted specialty
• Work 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Participate in weekend and call rotation with staff
• Float among five designated hospitals based on staffing needs (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Major emphasis on knee and hip replacements, spine, hand, and foot surgery
• Active New Jersey or compact RN license
• Active BLS certification (must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date)
• Nursys verification dated within 2 weeks of submission
• Both circulating and scrubbing experience required
• Must be able to scrub within the posted specialty
• Must be clean-shaven for fit-testing

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Weekends and call required in rotation with staff
• Start Date: 09/10/2026

Submission & Compliance Notes

• RTO must be submitted with the profile (none accepted post-submission)
• No RTO during the first week
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Provide 3–5 days of interview availability with submission
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the primary facility are subject to a local rate ($5 less)
• Pre-employment labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
