About the role

• Level III Trauma Center with 145 beds
• 16 total operating rooms: Main OR (10 rooms), OR North (6 rooms within the same facility)
• Will not accept traveler with less than 2 years of acute care OR experience
• Will not accept first-time travelers
• Patient types: pediatric to adult
• Procedures include:
  • Pediatric Neuro (craniotomies, vaults)
  • Adult Neuro (craniotomies, EVDs, shunts, bolts)
  • Traumas, Vascular, Surgical Oncology (Whipple)
  • General, Urology, GYN, Thoracic
  • Robotics (e.g., drape the robot, exchange instruments in arms)
  • ENT, Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Podiatry, Dental, Plastics, Breasts
• If position is specifically for OR North: Ortho, GYN, general, breasts, plastics, ENT, dental, spinal cord stimulator, DaVinci XI/DV5
• CVOR cases performed here, but not required to work in that area
• Patient ratios: 1:1
