About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 14-week assignment in Portland, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Circulate in various surgical specialties including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Neurosurgery, open vascular, ENT, dental, Pediatric surgery, and Di Vinci Robots.
- Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, with a shift starting at 7:00 PM and ending at 7:30 AM.
- Experience flexibility, accountability, teamwork, and timeliness.
- Prepare operating rooms, set up equipment, and assist with patient care during surgeries.
- Assist with post-operative care and documentation.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- 2 years of Trauma experience required.
- Charge Nurse experience a plus.
- Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
