Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,845 per week
Job Summary
The role involves circulating duties in surgical settings, documenting patient care, and preparing operative environments. Candidates must be adaptable to fast-paced environments and willing to float between multiple campuses supporting numerous operating rooms.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with one weekend of call every 6 weeks, and 1-2 late shifts per week, not considered callback but an extension of core shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Valid North Dakota RN license or equivalent compact license
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical nursing experience in a large hospital or level 2 or higher facility
- Able to work in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with general surgical cases
- Gynecology (GYN)
- Urology
- Laparoscopic procedures
Additional Information
The role involves circulating in the operative setting, sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, equipment setup, and documentation within an electronic medical record system modeled after EPIC. May float to other units/departments within the Fargo system, supporting approximately 33 operating rooms across multiple campuses. Scrubs provided and must be worn (Ceil Blue). Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
