About the role
OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Prosser, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an experienced surgeon.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure sterility.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures related to infection control and patient safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington State.
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in an operating room setting.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
