Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,715 per week

About the role

Medasource is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide operating room nursing care in a 28-bed surgical unit
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Utilize EMR system (Meditech / CPN)
• Work with specialized equipment including TAVR, MAKO, and DaVinci robotics
• Perform procedures including Orthopedics, GYN, Urology, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Spine, Neuro, and Trauma
• On-call requirements: one late night/week, one working 8-hour Saturday every 4th week, one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday with 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN hospital experience
• BLS & ACLS certification
• Shift options: 6:30A - 5P or 6:30A - 7P
• Schedule flexibility with either 4-10s or 3-12s

Qualifications

• Experience working with DaVinci Robotics (preferred)
• Ortho, neurology, and vascular experience (highly preferred)
• Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
• Strong patient care and communication skills with staff and providers
