Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,700 per week
About the role
The facility in Hanford, California is seeking a travel nurse RN for their operating room department. This is an ASAP start and requires an ACLS and BLS certification. A CNOR certification is preferred but not required. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active California license.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon
- Assist surgeons during surgeries
- Manage post-operative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 3 years of operating room nursing experience
- CNOR certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
- Proficiency in operating room equipment
