This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a hospital's surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in circulating and scrubbing for various surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including trauma and academic medical center settings. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: Critical certifications as required, with 5+ years of experience preferred, particularly with level 1 trauma and academic medical centers. Experience in surgery center environments does not count towards experience requirements. Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Responsibilities: Assisting in a broad range of surgical procedures, including ortho, neuro, plastics, genitourinary, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries. Applicants should be well-rounded and capable of floating across various hospital departments as needed. Additional Information: Candidates willing to float all over the hospital are preferred. Applicants should demonstrate readiness to handle surgical cases in multiple specialties, including pediatrics and ophthalmology for off-shift applicants.
