This position involves supporting acute care procedures within the OR unit, with a focus on trauma and neuro experience. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Job Details Schedule: Rotating shifts; 10-hour shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association); minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting. Preferred Qualifications: Trauma and neuro experience; scrubbing experience; charge nurse or house supervisor experience preferred, but not required; scrub color/dress code: scrubs provided. Additional Information: Unit involves approximately 30 cases per day, including general, ENT, neuro, spine, orthopedics, and robotics cases. Scrubbing required; charge nurse or house supervisor experience is preferred but not essential. EMR system in use is Epic. Float rotation may be required only in case of extreme need within Zone 1: PEN, SFI, SFH, SMC, STM. Call requirements include approximately 120 hours per contract in rotation with staff, with response time of 30 minutes. Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. Unit-specific orientation will be provided. The assignment begins on 08/17/2026.
