Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,542 per week

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Flexible scheduling: either 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts
• On-call requirements: one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday every 4th week, one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday
• 30-minute response time for on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide acute-care nursing in the Operating Room
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures including:
  • Orthopedics
  • GYN
  • General surgery
  • Urology
  • Cardiothoracic
  • Vascular
  • Plastics
  • Dental
  • Eyes
  • Pediatrics
  • Spine
  • Neuro
  • Trauma
  • TAVR
  • MAKO
  • DaVinci robotic-assisted procedures
• Communicate effectively with staff and providers
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Operate specialized equipment including DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI, and Mako) and Meditech/CPN EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute-care OR hospital experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DaVinci Robotics
• Orthopedic, neurology, or vascular experience
• Prior Meditech EMR experience

• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Staffing model: flexible, with a focus on travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters
