Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,532 per week

Job Description

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of OR RN experience (system minimum)
• First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of OR experience
• Must have circulating experience in Ortho and Neuro cases
• ENT experience required
• Current South Dakota RN license (or eligible)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Unit Overview

• 4-bed Operating Room
• Average 7–13 cases per day
• Epic charting system (Epic experience preferred)
• Common Procedures: Total Joints, ORIF, Laminectomy, Spinal Fusion, Discectomy, ACDF, Microsurgery, Club Foot (Perc TAL), Pain Injections, ENT Procedures

Orientation

• Day 1: Computer training
• 2–3 days of unit orientation with a preceptor

Scheduling

• No routine weekend rotation
• On-call required (typically twice per week, finalized during the manager interview)
• Holiday requirement: 2 of 4 major holidays (New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Additional Information

• Travelers must live 100+ miles from any Monument Health facility
• Former permanent employees must wait 1 full year before returning as travelers
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Free parking available
