Requirements

• 2 years of acute/inpatient OR experience required. NO first time travelers. No exceptions.
• EPIC is strongly preferred.
• Certs Required: BLS

Skills & Patient Types

• Must have robotics experience (DaVinci).
• Circulate only.
• Experience in ortho, sports medicine, spine, robotics.
• Adult patient types: ENT (Thyroid), General, Ortho spine, Ortho (must have total joint experience), Gyn, vascular (AV fistula, Fem Pops), urology, podiatry.
• Minimal Peds (typically ENT).
• No open heart, transplants, high-level neuro procedures (EVDs).

Floating

If there is low census in the OR, the OR leadership team will assign you to float to inpatient areas (MS, ICU, PCU, ED Holding, PACU, etc.) and ED. Will be assigned to helping with vital signs, sitter, stocking, simple tasks.
