Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,515 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical services department, supporting a variety of surgical specialties and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in the operating room environment and be capable of working under established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/31/2026
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Shift: 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (10-hour shifts)
• On-call duties may include weekends, approximately 6-8 calls per month

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room
• Support a variety of surgical specialties, including:
  • Robotics
  • General Surgery
  • Trauma
  • Orthopedics
  • Vascular
  • Gynecology
  • Urology
  • Bariatrics
  • Thoracic Surgery
• Work in a facility with 495 beds
• No float rotation required
• Dress code: blue scrubs

Requirements

• At least 2 years of OR experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system
• Current certifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Virginia State License or Compact License

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
