About the role
NURSE's Etc. Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Supervise or manage others (preferred)
- Use basic computer skills
- Comply with all relevant certifications (current RN license, BLS, ACLS)
Requirements
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility
- No prior employment at Ochsner facilities within the last year
- Required education: Registered Nurse Diploma
- Prior education preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Required experience: Working with and maintaining confidential information, working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Prior experience preferred: Leadership skills / experience directly supervising or managing others
- Basic computer skills
- Certifications required: Current RN License in the state of practice, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Qualifications
Must be able to work 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, on a day shift.

Benefits
Tax-free stipend amount to be determined based on the pay package which includes an 8-hour shift and 40 hours per week.
