Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,455 per week

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Belfast, Maine.

About the role

This travel nursing position is at Waldo County General Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital with a 5-suite operating unit. The unit handles Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, and Ophthalmology procedures. Belfast is a coastal town about 80 miles northeast of Portland, Maine, offering scenic harbor walks and a historic downtown area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures
• Monitor patients during perioperative care
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure safe and effective care

Requirements

• Current Maine or Compact RN license
• At least two years of recent OR experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (AHA, copies required)
• SSN and date of birth required for compliance
• Two professional references covering entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with EPIC EMR

Pay

Pay rate: $2,393.00 - $2,516.00 per week for 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• Duration: 10 weeks
• Shift: 10 hours, days (9.5-hour shifts)
