Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,446 per week
About the role
Medasource is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position in Lorain, Ohio. This is a 13-week assignment starting 09/21/2026, with 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). The role is for an OR RN Circulator; local travelers will not be accepted. An arrhythmia exam is required (study guide provided). No call shifts are required, but the nurse may float to Lorain during low volumes at the Allen Unit.
The unit has 2 ORs and 1 procedure room, with a focus on Ortho, Neuro, and Vascular specialties. Weekly case volume ranges from 20-40, primarily consisting of pain injections and GI cases. Ortho days typically include about 5 cases, while smaller case days (pain or GI) may include 10-15 cases. Podiatry cases occur 1-2 times per week.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an OR RN Circulator in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Assist with Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, pain injections, GI, and podiatry procedures.
- Float to Lorain as needed during low-volume periods.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Experience in Ortho, Neuro, and Vascular specialties.
- Ability to pass an arrhythmia exam (study guide provided).
- Willingness to travel (local travelers not accepted).
