Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,444 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN – Operating Room position in Salt Lake City, Utah. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. The unit has 13 operating rooms, 81+ FTE staff (Trauma II, 24‑hour staffing). Day shift example: 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, 1‑3 sitters. EMR: EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of operative procedures (everything except LVADs, transplants, and pediatric patients under 14 years of age).
• Utilize da Vinci Robotics equipment.
• Provide care for orthopedic cases and, when available, vascular cases.
• Function as part of the OR team following unit staffing models and shift patterns.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience.
• Demonstrated experience with da Vinci Robotics.
• Orthopedic operating room experience.

Qualifications

• Vascular experience (preferred).
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Skills

• da Vinci Robotics proficiency.
• Orthopedic operative skills.
• Vascular operative skills (advantageous).
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional call.

Schedule

13‑week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. Occasional on‑call responsibility: 3 to 6 call shifts per month, typically 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
