About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Wheeling, West Virginia. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, working 10-hour evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment.
- Utilize advanced surgical technology and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Perform clinical assessments and adapt to the dynamic needs of the operating room.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for West Virginia or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 18 months of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- SSN and date of birth (DOB) required for compliance.
- Two professional references from the last 12 months.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience with perioperative care.
- Critical thinking and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
Pay
Pay rate: $2,373.00 - $2,495.00 per week, based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
