About the role

Must be able to scrub and circulate across all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.

  • 4 on-call requirements for a 4-week period:
    • 2 weeknight calls (7p–7a)
    • 2 weekend 24-hour calls
    • 1 holiday 24-hour call (if a holiday falls within the 4-week period)

Responsibilities

  • Observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients
  • Perform typical procedures on unit(s): joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery

Requirements

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • 2 years current experience in acute OR setting
  • Ortho, spine, and joint replacement experience
  • Knee and hip replacement experience

Qualifications

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

  • PALS
  • CNOR
  • Charge experience
