About the role
OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative care of patients.
- Manage sterile field and maintain aseptic technique during surgeries.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery and ensure proper equipment is available.
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Nebraska.
- At least one year of experience in an operating room setting.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Current BLS certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
Skills
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
