About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assisting with preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Maintaining sterile field and instrument sets
• Communicating effectively with surgical teams and patients
• Adhering to hospital policies and infection control protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in operating room setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
