About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room at St. Luke's Downtown Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/24/2026 with a target start date of 09/14/2026. The shift is 10 hours during the day.
Requirements & Expectations
- Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted).
- Active Iowa RN license in hand.
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and mandatory reporter certificate. CNOR preferred.
- Strict 50-mile radius rule: candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, verified via driver’s license.
- Submission requirements: driver’s license, work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, copies of certifications, and 1 supervisory reference.
Responsibilities
- Patient ratios of 3:1.
- Handle outpatient surgeries, infusion patients, infusion medications, and some titrations (blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, antibiotics—no chemo).
- Charting in Epic EMR.
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
