About the role

Registered Nurse – Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel - (OR RN) position in Midlothian, VA. StartDate: ASAP. Available Shifts: 8 E.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients throughout their surgical experience in a hospital setting
• Assess patient status
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe outcomes

Requirements

• Current Virginia RN license or a compact license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient surgical or medical-surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Registered Nurse, OR, Orthopedic Surgery Experience: 1 year
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• References: 1 Reference in entire work history
• Perm address must be over 50 miles away for RN applicants, no locals allowed
• Strong in following cases: Robotics, spine, ortho, laparoscopic, gen, GYN, URO, Vasc

Qualifications

• Strong patient education abilities
• Circulating and scrubbing experience
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments

Pay

Pay Rate: $2248.00 - $2364.00 per week (based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
