About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
• Manage medical equipment and supplies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in operating room setting preferred
