About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assisting with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
- Maintaining sterile technique throughout the operating room
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Qualifications
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in an operating room setting
- Experience with anesthesia management and monitoring equipment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay
The pay range for this position is $1819.24 - $2140.29 per week, subject to confirmation.
Schedule
This is a 5x8 Day shift, working 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
