About the role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room (OR) position in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This assignment is for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, consisting of 12-hour shifts. As a perioperative nurse, you will deliver care at the facility, supporting patients through surgical procedures and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for perioperative patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Requirements
- Current Louisiana RN license (Compact accepted).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in an operating room setting.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Two professional references covering your entire work history.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
- Effective communication skills.
Pay
$1,972.00 - $2,073.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) and may include a tax-free stipend.
