Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $1,993 per week

About the Role

Travel Operating Room RN position at Corpus Christi Medical Center - Doctors in Corpus Christi, Texas, a 250-bed acute care hospital with a Level IV Trauma Center. This 9 suite OR offers advanced surgical services including Neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and ortho. Corpus Christi is known for its beautiful beaches and the Texas State Aquarium, located on the Gulf Coast providing easy access to water activities and local dining.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team members including surgeons and anesthesiologists
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (Compact accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last year
• Experience with neuro, ortho, general, robotics, and urology cases
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech experience

Pay

$1943.00 - $2043.00 per week, based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8 hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, 13-week duration starting August 3, 2026.
