About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Lenexa, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assisting with preoperative and postoperative care
- Maintaining sterile field and instrument sets
- Communicating effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Qualifications
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay
The pay range for this position is $1645.48 - $1935.85 per week, subject to confirmation.
Schedule
This is a 3x12 Night shift position, working 36 hours per week.
