Travel Nurse RN - OR Circulate - $3,227 per week

About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. MA license required. The role involves circulating for ortho, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants (liver transplant experience is a plus). Scrub experience is highly preferred.

Day shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), 13 weeks, 40 hours per week. Up to 2 weekends per month, either on call (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) or working shifts. 30-minute on-call response time. One short call shift per week (3:00 AM – 7:00 AM or 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM). Primarily based on the West Main campus but may float to East or CVI OR. Eligible to work holidays while on contract; requested time off must be approved. No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility). Start date is ASAP or within 4 weeks for compliance. Orientation is held weekly (every Monday, barring holidays).

Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub for general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, urology, organ procurement, and trauma cases
• Respond to on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time
• Work assigned weekends and holidays as required

Requirements

• Active MA nursing license
• BLS certification
• Experience circulating in ortho, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants (liver transplant experience preferred)
• Scrub experience highly preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)

About the facility

OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery. The team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants.
