Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $1,940 to $2,060 per week in Espanola, NM

About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with AMN Healthcare to find a qualified OR RN in ESPANOLA, New Mexico, 87532!

Job Description & Requirements

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.
• Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.
• Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.
• Collaborates with the patient/family and healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.
• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy.
• Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care.
• Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, OR
• Experience: 2 years
• Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)
• Certifications: BLS
• References: 1 Reference in entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS
• Epic experience preferred, but not required; can train on-site.
• Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus.
