About the role
Provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring quality treatment and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive oncology nursing care in a hospital setting.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license.
- Experience in oncology nursing preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and patient needs.
