Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,449 per week
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. Start date: 09/14/2026, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts with flexibility.
About the role
The Oncology RN will care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, implement new symptom-treatment methods, and monitor patient progress. Nurses may specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages, focusing on the acute phase
- Assist post-surgical to near-terminal patients in managing disease and treatment, including administering chemotherapy
- Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and disease particularities
- Create a supportive environment for patients and families
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
