Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,365 per week

About the Role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift as a travel nurse.

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 24
• Number of Staff: 42
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Night Shift Staffing: 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5
• Type of Equipment: Standard unit equipment
• EMR: Cerner
• Floating Area(s): Other med-surg units (team rarely floats)
• Dress Code: RNs – navy, white, or a combination of both colors; CNAs – Galaxy Blue
• Weekends and On-Call: Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule; rare call

Responsibilities

• Perform typical procedures on the unit, including occasional pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis

Requirements

• Must-Have Skills:
  • RN License
  • BLS Certification
• Preferred Skills:
  • Chemo Certification
• Personality Fit: Team players, willing to learn
