MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13‑week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The position starts 10/05/2026, requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts, and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their condition, focusing on the acute phase.
• Administer chemotherapy and implement new methods of symptom treatment.
• Monitor patients’ progress and create a supportive environment.
• Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal in managing disease and treatment effectively.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Schedule

• Shift: 8 hours, days.
• Hours per week: 40.
