Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,265 per week
Job Summary
Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical Oncology Floor in a healthcare facility located in Wausau, WI. This role involves providing specialized care to surgical and medical oncology patients within a fast‑paced medical surgical oncology unit. The position begins on October 19, 2026, and runs for approximately 13 weeks, focusing on delivering high‑quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Schedule
12‑hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment is 13 weeks long. The role includes working every other weekend and holiday rotation. Orientation and certain holiday periods may have variable hours; no guarantee of GSA hours during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Wisconsin RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
- Oncology experience required
- Chemo certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year experience on a Medical Surgical Oncology (MSO) unit preferred
- Previous electronic charting experience; Epic EMR experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Float rotation may be required to other areas as needed, including in four‑hour blocks, before staff RNs

- Patient ratios range from 4:1 to 7:1 during night shifts, with always available tech support

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
