The unit performs patient care, symptom management, and education concerning radiation therapy and its side effects such as skin changes and fatigue. The team is experienced, with upcoming equipment upgrades, and the facility encourages growth and innovation. Float rotation may be required.

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an outpatient radiation oncology clinic
• Manage symptoms related to radiation therapy
• Educate patients on radiation side effects, including skin changes and fatigue

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Minimum 1-year current Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) acute care experience
• BLS certification
• Location in the specified area

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiation Oncology experience
• Prior ARIA experience
• Ability to address patient symptoms effectively
• Compassionate personality
