A Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse is needed for a facility located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The position involves providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and diagnosis management within a long-term acute care (LTAC) unit. The role requires delivering safe, individualized patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize treatment plans.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
• Massachusetts residency or eligibility
• 0 or more years of nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oncology nursing
• Familiarity with chemotherapy administration
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required
• The position involves working every other weekend and holidays in an LTAC Oncology unit caring for patients requiring chemotherapy and diagnosis management.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
