About the role
Oncology RNs provide and supervise nursing care for cancer patients. They monitor patient condition, administer medications, and educate cancer patients about treatment options and the particularities of the disease.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient health and safety
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Educate patients about their treatment plans
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to healthcare team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Mississippi
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of oncology nursing experience preferred
- Experience with chemotherapy administration
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and the start date is ASAP.
