Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $1,844 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for an immediate opening in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role involves providing top‑level care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients, administering chemotherapy under physician direction, implementing symptom‑treatment methods, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients about treatment options and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking.
• Be a reliable source of comfort and support for cancer patients and their families.
• Attend to a great number of details while working under pressure.
• Implement best practice treatment protocols in a variety of settings.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Skills

• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds easily; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds.
• Tolerance for exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
