Travel Nurse RN - OB/GYN - $2,246 per week

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, a subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, partners with Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC to provide a travel nursing opportunity for an OB/GYN RN. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Act as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience in a hospital setting (OB/GYN specialty preferred).
• Current state RN license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Ability to communicate clearly – read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies.

Pay

Pay range: $60.00 – $62.40 per hour.
